Peshawar Zalmi - Season-wise Performance:

Peshawar Zalmi's PSL journey began in an impressive manner. They won six of their eight league games and finished at the top of the points table. However, the Peshawar-based outfit could not qualify for the final. Their journey came to an end with a defeat against Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United in the first and second qualifier respectively.

After missing out on the title in the inaugural PSL season, Peshawar Zalmi made amends in style in 2017. They went all the way to clinch their maiden and so far only PSL title. For the second season in  a row, Peshawar Zalmi finished the league stage at the top of the points table.

In the playoffs, they lost the first qualifier against Quetta Gladiators before beating Karachi Kings in the second qualifier to advance to the final. In the final, Peshawar Zalmi beat the Gladiators by 58 runs to win the tournament.

In 2018 and 2019, Peshawar Zalmi impressed once again but could not win the title. In both the seasons, they advanced to the final but failed to register a win in the title-decider. In 2018, they lost against Islamabad United before suffering a defeat against Quetta Gladiators in the 2019 final.

In 2020 season, Peshawar Zalmi managed to win only 4 of their 10 league games. However, it was enough for them to qualify for the playoffs. Their campaign ended with a defeat against Lahore Qalandars in the Eliminator.

In 2021, Peshawar Zalmi qualified for the final for the fourth time. However, their campaign ended in a disappointing fashion once again as they lost the final against Multan Sultans. In the following three seasons, Peshawar Zalmi qualified for the playoffs on each occasion but could not qualify for the final even once.
