इंग्लैंड क्रिकेट टीम के धाकड़ ऑल राउंडर बेन स्टोक्स (Ben Stokes) ने आज यानि 18 जुलाई की शाम को एक बेहद चौंका देने वाली घोषणा कर दी है। 31 वर्षीय खिलाड़ी ने कल यानि 19 जुलाई को दक्षिण अफ्रीका वनडे सीरीज के पहले मैच के बाद वनडे फॉर्मेट से सन्यास लेने का ऐलान कर दिया है। अचानक उनके द्वारा इस बड़े फैसले के बाद क्रिकेट जगत के साथ ही उनके सभी फैंस स्तब्ध हो गए हैं। साथ ही सोशल मीडिया पर इस खिलाड़ी के चाहने वालों ने अपना दर्द बयां करना शुरू कर दिया है।

बेन स्टोक्स (Ben Stokes) मौजूदा समय में विश्व के सबसे बेहतरीन हरफनमौला खिलाड़ी है, साल 2013 में इंटरनेशनल क्रिकेट में पदार्पण करने के साथ ही उन्होंने सभी को अपने प्रदर्शन का मुरीद बना दिया था। उनकी फिटनेस भी लाजवाब है, साथ ही मौजूदा समय में उनके फॉर्म को लेकर भी किसी भी प्रकार की चिंता नहीं जताई जा रही है।
