केएल राहुल इन दिनो इंटरनेशनल क्रिकेट की तरह ही आईपीएल में भी बल्ले से रन बनाने में नाकाम साबित हो रहे है। उनका बल्ला पूरे आईपीएल सीजन में चलने का नाम ही नहीं ले रहा है। हालांकि, वह अब तक आईपीएल में 2 अर्धशतक जमा चुके है। लेकिन, उनका स्ट्राइक रेट टीम के लिए परेशानी का सबब बना हुआ है।

हाल ही में खेले गए गुजरात टाइटंस के खिलाफ उन्होंने 68 रनों की पारी खेली थी। लेकिन, वह अपनी इस पारी से टीम को जीत नहीं दिला सके थे। वहीं पंजाब किंग्स के खिलाफ खेले गए 38वें मुकाबले में राहुल एक और खराब पारी खेल कर पवेलियन  लौटे। उनकी इस घटिया बल्लेबाजी के बाद फैंस का गुस्सा सोशल मीडिया पर फूट पड़ा है। राहुल को ट्रोलिंग का सामना करना पड़ रहा है।

मौहाली के पंजाब क्रिकेट असोशिएसन आईएस बिंद्रा स्टेडियम में केएल राहुल का बल्ला शांत दिखा। एक जीवनदान मिलने के बाद भी वह अपनी पारी को बड़े स्कोर में तब्दील नहीं कर सके और महज 12 रन बनाकर काइल मायर्स का साथ छोड़कर पवेलियन लौटे। हर सीजन में 500 से ज्यादा रन बनाने वाले केएल राहुल एक-एक रन बनाने के लिए मोहताज हो रहे है। वहीं उनके शर्मनाक प्रदर्शन के बाद उन्हें सोशल मीडिया पर जमकर ट्रोलिंग का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। फैंस अलग-अलग प्रकार की प्रतिक्रिया देकर उनका मजाक बना रहे है।
