भारत-इंग्लैंड के बीच खेला जा रहा सीरीज का दूसरा टेस्ट मैच लगातार रोमांचक स्थिति में है. लेकिन थर्ड अंपायर जमकर ट्रोल हो रहे हैं. टीम को 5 बड़े झटके लग चुके हैं. भारत की शुरूआत तो बेहद खराब रही. क्योंकि लंच ब्रेक से पहले विराट समेत शुभमन गिल और चेतेश्वर पुजारा जल्द आउट हो चुके थे. लेकिन रहाणे और रोहित के बीच लंबी साझेदारी हुई. हिटमैन ने 161 रन और रहाणे ने 67 रन बनाए हैं. पहले दिन की पारी खत्म होने तक भारत ने 6 विकेट के नुकसान पर 88 ओवर में 300 रन बनाए हैं.
रोहित शर्मा की हो रही तारीफ तो थर्ड अंपायर पर हो रहे ट्रोल
फिलहाल रोहित शर्मा जहां अपनी शानदार पारी की वजह से लगातार चर्चा बटोर रहे हैं, तो वहीं बिना खाता खोले पवेलियन लौटे विराट कोहली पर भी फैंस भड़क गए हैं. इसके अलावा थर्ड अंपायर का तो अब जमकर मजाक उड़ रहा है. जिसकी वजह अजिंक्य रहाणे हैं, जिन्हें नॉटआउट करार दिया गया था, जबकि उप कप्तान आउट थे. ऐसे में अब इसी अंपायर की जमकर आलोचना हो रही है.
थर्ड अंपायर भड़के कई पूर्व दिग्गज
दरअसल मोईन अली की गेंद पर रहाणे आउट थे, लेकिन जब रिव्यू लिया गया तो थर्ड अंपायर ने नॉटआउट करार दिया. जबकि रहाणे के ग्लव्स के गेंद छू गई थी, और वो आउट थे. ऐसे में इस डिसिजन पर कई बड़े दिग्गज भी कमेंट कर अंपायर पर अपनी भड़ास तो निकाल रहे हैं, तो वहीं फैंस इस डिसिजन को लेकर फनी मीम्स भी साझा कर रहे हैं.

The appeal for a catch against Rahane, before he got out, was quite poorly handled. Should have checked snicko on the way up. By allowing England to retain the review, have they admitted they were wrong?

In regard to the Rahane decision it's more they lied to Root that it was checked.
Either the third umpire lied to the on field umpires that it was checked or the onfield umpires lied to Root. Either way its not a good look.

No Mr. @bhogleharsha. Every team retains the review on umpire's call. The third umpire didn't find conclusive evidence to overturn the on field umpire's decision. So, he stuck with not out. And as he stuck with the on field umpire's call, the review can be retained.
