भारत और न्यूज़ीलैंड के बीच 3 मैचों की रोमांचक T20I सीरीज़ का दूसरा मुकाबला 29 जनवरी रविवार को लखनऊ के इकाना क्रिकेट स्टेडियम में खेला गया. जिसमें न्यूज़ीलैंड क्रिकेट टीम के कप्तान मिचेल सैंटनर ने टॉस जीतकर पहले बल्लेबाज़ी करने का फैसला किया था. जोकि काफी गलत साबित हुआ.
भारतीय टीम के स्पिनर कीवी बल्लेबाज़ों पर पूरी तरह से हावी रहे. न्यूज़ीलैंड ने पहले बल्लेबाज़ी करते हुए 8 विकेट के नुकसान पर महज़ 99 रन बनाए. वहीं दूसरी पारी में भारत के लिए पारी का आगाज़ करने उतरे सलामी बल्लेबाज़ शुभमन गिल (Shubman Gill) एक बार फिर फ्लॉप हो गए. जिसके बाद अब उन्हें सोशल मीडिया पर ट्रोल किया जा रहा है.

मौजूदा समय में टीम इंडिया के युवा सलामी बल्लेबाज़ शुभमन गिल (Shubman Gill) वनडे में प्रचंड फॉर्म में चल रहे हैं. उन्होंने कीवी टीम के खिलाफ वनडे में दोहरा शतक और शतक के बदौलत 360 रन बनाए थे. ग़ौरतलब है कि वह T20I सीरीज़ में न्यूज़ीलैंड के खिलाफ ही पूरी तरह से फ्लॉप रहे हैं. जहां उन्होंने पहली पारी में 7 रन बनाए थे. तो वहीं वह अब दूसरे T20I में सिर्फ 11 रन बनाकर पवेलियन लौट गए.
जिसके बाद अब फैंस उनसे काफी ज़्यादा निराश हैं. वह शुभमन को सोशल मीडिया पर जमकर ट्रोल कर रहे हैं. गिल को T20I के स्पेशलस्ट ओपनर पृथ्वी शॉ के ऊपर दोनों ही मुकाबलों में खिलाया गया था. गौरतलब है कि गिल दोनों ही मैचों में पूरी तरह से रन बनाने में नाकाम रहे. जिसके बाद अब उन्हें ट्रोल किया जा रहा है.
